Diane Diacon

Diane Diacon is an independent researcher, focussing on scaling of successful housing practices. She is former Director of the Building and Social Housing Foundation (BSHF), an independent research organisation based in the UK that promotes sustainable development and innovation in housing through collaborative research and knowledge transfer both nationally and internationally. BSHF was granted Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations in June 2006.

Diane has published widely in the field of innovative housing solutions, and lectures on sustainable housing issues in a range of academic institutions, as well as advising in a range of policy making contexts. She is a Director of three regional social housing and support providers and represents the United Kingdom on the European Liaison Committee for Social Housing.
